Biographie

Eduardo Rios Silva begann im Alter von zehn Jahren Geige zu spielen. Er studierte zunächst am Nationalen Musikkonservatorium seines Heimatlands Peru. Später wechselte er nach Los Angeles ans Colburn Conservatory of Music, wo ihn Robert Lipsett unterrichtete und er seinen Bachelor sowie das Artist Diploma erwarb. 2015 gewann er in Detroit die Sphinx Competition und debütierte als Solist mit dem Houston Symphony Orchestra. Erfahrungen als Orchestermusiker sammelte er im Rahmen des Resident Fellowship der Los Angeles Philharmonic, als Gastkonzertmeister des Nashville Symphony und als First Assistant Concertmaster beim Seattle Symphony.

Biography

Eduardo Rios Silva began playing the violin at the age of ten. He first studied at the National Conservatory of Music in his native Peru. He later moved to Los Angeles to study at the Colburn Conservatory of Music, where he was taught by Robert Lipsett and earned his bachelor's degree and artist diploma. In 2015, he won the Sphinx Competition in Detroit and made his debut as a soloist with the Houston Symphony Orchestra. He gained experience as an orchestral musician through the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Resident Fellowship, as guest concertmaster of the Nashville Symphony and as first assistant concertmaster with the Seattle Symphony.
