Liv Redpath

Die amerikanische Sopranistin Liv Redpath gilt als eine der vielversprechendsten Sängerinnen ihrer Generation und erlangt internationale Anerkennung sowohl im Opern- als auch im Konzertrepertoire. Sie ist Absolventin der Harvard University und der Juilliard School und war Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist an der Los Angeles Opera.

In der Spielzeit 2024/25 kehrte sie an die Santa Fe Opera als Susanna in »Le nozze di Figaro« und an die Bayerische Staatsoper als Sophie in »Der Rosenkavalier« zurück und gab ihr Debüt mit der Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia als Agnès in »Written on Skin«. Zudem arbeitete sie mit dem San Francisco Symphony, dem Seattle Symphony, dem Orchestra of St. Luke’s, dem Radio Filharmonisch Orkest, Les Violons du Roy, dem Danish National Symphony Orchestra und dem Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI zusammen.

Redpath trat unter der Leitung von Kirill Petrenko, Gustavo Dudamel, Daniel Harding, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Manfred Honeck, Vladimir Jurowski, Fabio Luisi, Bernard Labadie und Thomas Hengelbrock auf und arbeitete mit den Regisseuren David Alden, Simon Stone, Nadja Loschky und Barrie Kosky.

Liv Redpath wird ihr Debüt beim Osterfestival 2026 unter der Leitung von Kirill Petrenko geben.

American soprano Liv Redpath is one of the most promising sopranos of her generation, gaining international acclaim across operatic and symphonic repertoire. A graduate of Harvard University and the Juilliard School, she was a Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist at Los Angeles Opera.

Liv Redpath makes her debut at the 2026 Salzburg Easter Festival under the baton of Kirill Petrenko.
