Mark Milhofer

Mark Milhofer sang als Student im College Choir des Magdalen College Oxford, bevor er an der Guildhall School of Music in London Operngesang studierte. Jüngste Höhepunkte waren Ferrando in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts »Così fan tutte« mit dem Freiburger Barockorchester und der Israeli Opera, Atlanta in Luigi Rossis »Palazzo incantato« an der Opéra de Nancy und der l’Opéra de Dijon, Apollo in Claudio Monteverdis »Orfeo« am Royal Danish Opera House und George Benjamins »Lessons in Love and Violence« am Opernhaus Zürich. Zu Milhofers aktuellen und zukünftigen Projekten gehören der Gouverneur in Leonard Bernsteins »Candide« am Theater an der Wien, Arnalta in Monteverdis »L´Incoronazione di Poppea« am Gran Teatre del Liceu, Linfea in Francesco Cavallis »Calisto« an der Bayerischen Staatsoper und Alessandro in Mozarts »Re pastore« im Rahmen der Mozartwoche Salzburg.

Mark Milhofer’s current and future projects include the Governor in Leonard Bernstein´s »Candide« at the Theater an der Wien, Arnalta in Monteverdi´s »L’incoronazione di Poppea« at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Linfea in Franceso Cavalli´s »Calisto« at the Bayerische Staatsoper and Alessandro in Mozart´s »Re pastore« in concert at the Mozartwoche Salzburg.
