Hanna-Elisabeth Müller gilt als eine der führenden Lied- und Konzertinterpretinnen der Gegenwart und wird gleichfalls auf der Opernbühne gefeiert. Ihren internationalen Durchbruch feierte die Sopranistin 2014 als Zdenka in Richard Strauss’ »Arabella« unter der Leitung von Christian Thielemann bei den Osterfestspielen Salzburg. Für diese Interpretation wurde sie von der Zeitschrift Opernwelt als »Nachwuchskünstlerin des Jahres« ausgezeichnet.

Sie gastiert regelmäßig an den renommiertesten Opernhäusern und Festivals weltweit, darunter die Bayerische Staatsoper München, die Wiener Staatsoper, die Metropolitan Opera in New York, die Semperoper Dresden, das Teatro alla Scala, das Royal Opera House Covent Garden, das Opernhaus Zürich und die Salzburger Festspiele.

Zu den Höhepunkten der Saison 2025/26 zählen ihre Auftritte als Contessa in »Le nozze di Figaro« auf Japan Tournee mit der Bayerischen Staatsoper und als Hausdebüt an der Pariser Oper, sowie Vitellia in »La clemenza di Tito« an der Wiener Staatsoper. 2026 kehrt Hanna-Elisabeth Müller unter Daniel Harding zu den Osterfestspielen Salzburg zurück.

She achieved international recognition in 2014 with her breakthrough performance as Zdenka in Richard Strauss’ »Arabella« under the baton of Christian Thielemann at the Salzburg Easter Festival — a role that earned her the title »Young Artist of the Year« by Opernwelt magazine.
