Hwanhee Hwang

Hwanhee Hwang wurde in Busan, Korea, geboren und studierte Darstellende Kunst an der Korea National University of Arts in Seoul, wo sie einen Masterabschluss erwarb. Neben ihren eigenen Projekten war sie Choreographin am Seoul Metropolitan Theatre und am Ulsan Metropolitan Arts Theater, wo sie mit Tänzerinnen und Tänzern, Schauspielerinnen und Schauspielern sowie Musikerinnen und Musikern arbeitete. 2009 zog Hwanhee Hwang nach Berlin und ist seitdem dort in vielen Produktionen zu sehen. 2012 begann ihre Arbeit mit der Compagnie Sasha Waltz & Guests. Sie wirkte bei zahlreichen Produktionen der Compagnie mit, darunter »Sacre«, »Orfeo«, »Exodos«, »rauschen«, »Kreatur«, »In C«, »SYM-PHONIE MMXX« und »Beethoven 7«.
