Rosa Dicuonzo

Rosa Dicuonzo wurde in Barletta, Italien, geboren. In Monaco nahm sie Ballettunterricht an der Princess Grace Academy. Später zog sie nach Deutschland und schloss 2019 ihr Studium am Institut für Zeitgenössischen Tanz der Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen ab. Seitdem arbeitet sie als freischaffende Tänzerin, unter anderem mit Michal Mualem und Giannalberto de Filippis sowie mit Giorgio Rossi. Sie tritt als Gasttänzerin des Tanztheaters Wuppertal Pina Bausch in Béla Bartóks »Blaubart« auf und nimmt an verschiedenen europäischen Projekten und Tanz- und Theaterresidenzen teil. Seit 2021 tanzt sie für die Compagnie Sasha Waltz & Guests.

Rosa Dicuonzo was born in Barletta, Italy. In Monaco she took ballet classes at the Princess Grace Academy. Later Rosa moved to Germany and graduated from the Institute of Contemporary Dance at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen in 2019. Since then, she has been working as a freelance dancer, working with Michal Mualem and Giannalberto de Filippis as well as Giorgio Rossi, among others. She appears as a guest dancer with the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch in Béla Bartók's »Blaubart« and takes part in various European projects and dance and theatre residencies. She has been dancing for the company Sasha Waltz & Guests since 2021.
