Sander Loonen

Sander Loonen absolvierte in den 1990er Jahren seine Ausbildung an der Rotterdamse Schouwburg. Er ist gleichermaßen versiert in den Bereichen Beleuchtung, Ton, Video und Inszenierung und füllt die Lücke zwischen künstlerischen Ambitionen und technischer Machbarkeit. Er arbeitet mit internationalen Kreativteams in allen Aspekten von Live-Performances und Installationen zusammen und war für eine Vielzahl von Künstlern, Compagnien und Institutionen tätig, das Royal Opera House, das English National Ballet, das Königliche Ballett von Flandern, die Irish National Opera in Dublin, das National Architectural Institute Netherlands, den Schweizer Pavillion 2019 und den Holländischen Pavillion 2022/23 der Biennale in Venedig, Anish Kapoor, LA Dance Project, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance, Yang Liping, Boy Blue, Sarah Moeremans, Emio Greco|Pieter C. Sander Loonen made his apprenticeship at the Rotterdamse Schouwburg in the 1990s. Equally versed in lighting, sound, video and staging, he fills the gap between artistic ambitions and technical feasibility. Sander Loonen is working with international creative teams, in all aspects of live performance and installations and has designed and managed lighting, video, sound and staging for a great variety of artists and institutions such as the Royal Opera House, the English National Ballet, the Royal Ballet of Flanders, the Irish National Opera, the National Architectural Institute Netherlands, the Swiss Pavilion Biennale 2019, the Venice Biennale, the Dutch Pavilion 2022/23, Anish Kapoor, LA Dance Project, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company, Yang Liping Company, Boy Blue, Sarah Moeremans, Emio Greco|Pieter C. Scholten, the Serpentine Gallery, the Théâtre de la Ville Paris, and many others.
