Patrons' Trip 2023: Rome

The Patrons' Trip 2023 takes us to the » Eternal City« of Rome and gives you a chance to get to know the artists of the 2024 Easter Festival in person. In addition to selected sightseeing tours and private guided tours, you can expect concerts on a very small scale and culinary highlights. The trip is fully booked at the moment, however, you can put your name on the waiting list.

For Gold and above patrons // 31 October - 3 November 2023

On the day of your arrival (Tuesday), the artistic director of the Easter Festival Nikolaus Bachler will welcome you personally at the 5-star hotel Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese. Afterwards, a unique musical intermezzo with musicians from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and a special menu afterwards await you at an exceptional location.

On Wednesday, you will start the day with an exclusive guided tour of the city and then enjoy lunch in a Roman trattoria. In the afternoon, a part of the orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia will play a private concert in a very special setting. In the evening you will enjoy an exquisite menu.

Thursday morning begins with a visit to the Galleria Doria Pamphilj, an art history museum. After a small meal in a unique location in Rome, you will have the opportunity to explore the city by yourself. In the evening, the highlight of the journey takes place: You will be welcomed with an aperitif at the MUSA Museum of Musical Instruments of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, where you will be given a guided tour and concert introduction before Sir Antonio Pappano, long-time chief conductor of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, raises his baton for one of the concert highlights of the year, featuring music by Strauss, Beethoven and Liszt. The soloist of the evening is star pianist Igor Levit. Finally, a brilliant dinner with Nikolaus Bachler and Antonio Pappano awaits you directly at the MUSA.
