Guided tour Rupertinum

On occasion of Mozart’s 270th birthday, the exhibition presents selected works by four artists that were inspired in distinctive ways by Mozart’s most famous opera. The exhibition vividly conveys the enduring appeal of »The Magic Flute« and brings its magic to life in visual, acoustic, and immersive experiences.

Our bodies speak every day—not just with words, but also through gestures and facial expressions. The exhibition sheds light on the complex tensions between individual expressiveness and the outside expectations that become imprinted on our physical appearance.
