Chœur de l’Opéra de Dijon

Der Chœur de l’Opéra de Dijon ist ein festes Ensemble von Opernsängerinnen und Opernsängern, der seit 2015 von Anass Ismat geleitete wird. Er tritt sowohl im Auditorium und im Grand Théâtre de Dijon im Rahmen der Opernsaison auf, als auch auf Tourneen in Frankreich und im Ausland, insbesondere im Rahmen von Koproduktionen mit anderen Häusern. Er beteiligt sich maßgeblich an der Entwicklung pädagogischer Projekte und an Veranstaltungen zur Förderung des Opernbetriebs. In dieser Saison ist der Chor an fünf szenischen Produktionen beteiligt, darunter die Wiederaufnahmen von »Fidelio«, »Turandot« und »Oh La La La!« an der l’Opéra de Dijon und zwei Neuproduktionen zum einen »Johannes-Passion« im Rahmen der Osterfestspiele Salzburg und in Dijon und zum anderen »Tosca« an der Opéra de Dijon. Außerdem ist der Chœur de l’Opéra de Dijon in Beethovens Symphonie Nr. 9 mit dem Orchestre Dijon Bourgogne zu erleben und nimmt an Monteverdis »Marienvesperesper« mit den Traversées Baroques teil.

The Chœur de l’Opéra de Dijon is a permanent ensemble of opera singers that has been under the direction of Anass Ismat since 2015. It performs at the Auditorium and the Grand Théâtre de Dijon as part of the opera season, as well as on tour in France and abroad, particularly as part of co-productions with other opera houses. It is heavily involved in the development of educational projects and events to promote opera. This season, the choir is involved in five staged productions, including the revivals of »Fidelio«, »Turandot« and »Oh La La La!« at the l’Opéra de Dijon and two new productions on the one hand in »Johannes-Passion« at the Salzburg Easter Festival and in Dijon and on the other hand in »Tosca« at the Opéra de Dijon. The Chœur de l’Opéra de Dijon can also be heard in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with the Orchestre Dijon Bourgogne and will take part in Monteverdi's »Vespers of the Virgin Mary« with the Traversées Baroques.
