Janine Jansen

Die niederländische Violinistin Janine Jansen genießt einen internationalen Ruf und wirkt mit den renommiertesten Orchestern und Dirigenten der Welt zusammen.

In der Saison 2025/26 ist sie Artist in Residence bei den Berliner Philharmonikern. Sie spielt dort Konzerte mit Kirill Petrenko, Sir Simon Rattle sowie mit Tugan Sokhiev. Zudem sind mehrere Kammermusikprojekte mit Mitgliedern der Berliner Philharmoniker und der Karajan-Akademie geplant. Zu weiteren Höhepunkten zählen große Tourneen mit dem Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, dem London Symphony Orchestra sowie dem Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich. Als künstlerische Partnerin der Camerata Salzburg präsentiert Janine Jansen gleich zwei große Projekte in Europa und in Asien.

Sie ist Gründerin und künstlerische Leiterin des Internationalen Kammermusikfestivals Utrecht sowie co-künstlerische Leiterin des Sion Festivals. Seit November 2023 ist sie zudem Professorin für Violine an der Kronberg Academy.

Janine Jansen spielt auf Stradivaris exquisiter Shumsky-Rode-Violine (1715). Das Instrument wird ihr von einem europäischen Mäzen als Leihgabe überlassen. Außerdem ist sie Pirastro-Künstlerin und spielt Evah-Pirazzi-Neo-Saiten.

In the 2025/26 season, Jansen will be Artist in Residence with the Berliner Philharmoniker. She performs concerts there with Kirill Petrenko, Sir Simon Rattle and Tugan Sokhiev. In addition, several chamber music projects are planned with members of the Berliner Philharmoniker and the Karajan Academy. Further highlights of the season include major tours with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, and Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich. As artistic partner of the Camerata Salzburg, Janine Jansen will present two major projects in Europe and Asia.

She is the founder and artistic director of the International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht, as well as co-artistic director of the Sion Festival. Since November 2023, she has also been Professor of Violin at the Kronberg Academy.

Janine Jansen performs on Stradivari’s exquisite Shumsky Rode violin (1715), which is generously loaned to her by a European patron. She is also a Pirastro Artist and plays Evah Pirazzi Neo strings.
