Biographie

Eve-Maud Hubeaux was born in Geneva and first studied piano at the Lausanne Conservatory before beginning her vocal studies there. From the opera studio of the Opéra National du Rhin Strasbourg, she developed her international career. Major engagements in recent seasons include Amneris in »Aida« at the Salzburg Festival, Mère Marie in »Dialogues des Carmélites« at the Vienna State Opera, Eboli at the Berlin State Opera, Carmen at La Monnaie Bruxelles and Brangäne in »Tristan und Isolde« at the Opéra de Lyon. Her concert repertoire includes Bach's »St Matthew Passion«, Rossini's »Messa di Gloria« and Wagner's »Wesendonck Lieder«. She has won prizes in numerous competitions, including the International Belvedere Competition (2013) and the 5th Renata Tebaldi International Competition. At the Salzburg Easter Festival she makes her debut as Laura in »La Gioconda«.
